South Hills Addition

This gracious home is located on the perfect “lot and ½” on a private lane. We placed the addition on the least desirable side of the house to preserve privacy and views of the landscape. The 1992 Addition included what we refer to as the “dove cote”, a bay with details reminiscent of a little bird house. We tied the 2006-2007 Addition into the 1992 Addition by repeating the “dove cote” detailing and the detailing of the existing house. The 1st Floor Family Room is an extension of the 1992 Eating Area and “dove cote” to open up the existing Kitchen into a spacious area for the family to gather for entertaining, TV, games, or casual dining. The 2nd Floor Master Suite is an extension of a 1992 Bedroom addition, adding additional closet space and an airy, elegant Master Bath. The Owners will be finishing landscaping this spring in order to enjoy the summer months in their private retreat.
